Quest 33 - "Reaching to Key West"        Holby Marine is proud of its boats and the heritage that goes along with the boats that we have built.  The Quest 33 continues the tradition of "Quality Boats Built with Integrity" at Holby Marine Company.  The Quest has been one of the most successful designs in its class and achieved many successes over the years:
  • 2nd in class, 3rd overall – Figawi,
  • Hyannis to Nantucket
  • 1st Overall - Newport Gold Regatta
  • 1st in class - New York Yacht Club Race Week, Long Distance Race
  • 1st-2nd-3rd (Class 2) - New England Solo/Twin
    A CLEAN SWEEP!
  • 2nd (Class 1) - New England Solo/Twin

Congratulations to all of the Quest owners and skippers!

The Quest line is also actively racing and cruising in the Great Lakes, Maine, and Annapolis. Holby Marine’s first Quest 33S, currently under construction, is going to Seattle this fall. She will have a keel-stepped mast and a non-overlapping 105% jib.

We do not know of any other 33 foot sailboat that can be offshore capable, be able to win around the buoys and yet have the cruising amenities to cruise in comfort for weeks at a time. If you are looking for a boat like this, look no further and call us for a test sail.

"The Quest 33 is the most sailing fun per foot you can have in a racer/cruiser. It's an easy boat to get around a race course, and is perfect cruising for a couple or a family. It has the reaching speed of most 40-foot cruising boats but goes upwind and downwind a lot faster. And with auto pilot, I can single hand and even fly a chute, so it lets me do a lot more sailing. To top it all off, It's easy to maintain and keep looking pristine."

- Bart Rapaport, "OOPS" Hull #1

The Quest 33 is as remarkable for its interior as it is for its sailing abilities; comfortable, well ventilated, and especially roomy for a boat this size. The cabin aft is large enough to sleep north, south, east or west. At the base of the companionway there is a galley to port with a 2-burner stove, icebox and sink, with stowage outboard. To starboard there is a fully equipped, enclosed head with ample headroom. Further forward on the starboard side, the navigation area is served from the salon seat. The main cabin has comfortable full-sized settee berths 6'6" long, each with seat backs and an optional drop leaf table. It's a perfect area for dining or socializing, and a great off-watch area while sailing.
